Generating Values for All Stakeholders!
Generating Values for All Stakeholders!
Thank you for visiting our website. I feel highly honored and privileged to welcome you on the behalf of Manor OHNS Training Centre: the best place for occupational health & safety (oh&s) training and consultancy in Saskatchewan, a proud member of Saskatchewan Safety Council and Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE).
In a workplace especially in oil & gas industry, equipment maintenance and construction business, we often experience work-site near miss and incident. We sometimes hear, read and watch a dangerous occurrence mentioned in Section 8, Regulation 1996 (OH&S - SK), an environmental damage or water pollution due to pipeline breaks or leaks, a catastrophic situation like plant explosion, a serious health injury to worker and even a loss of human-life in job-sites. Thus, safety negligence, over-looked safe-work procedure, short cuts taken in a rush or not following the governmental legislation etc. may cost the company a regulatory approval for a project, may tarnish very rapidly over-all reputation of the business and its integrity that really takes a long to time to build in the society.
That is why, while recommending OHNS, I do pledge to facilitate with the industry proven OH&S training and safety consultation that meets or exceeds provincial and/or federal standards without taking precedence over any applicable governmental OH&S Act/Regulation.
Section 13 Act 1993 OH&S SK states Duty to provide occupational health and safety programs and Section 22 of the Regulation details on minimum Occupational health and safety program. Therefore, as an employer or a business operator, you must provide a health and safety program(s) in your place of employment in province of Saskatchewan. As a worker should know your occupational safety rights and responsibility, too. The OHNS Centre collaborates with clients to build the most comprehensive safety programs possible, in compliance with legislation and safely optimizes their operations to help them perform at their best. We offer the most up-to-date instructional resources to educate workforce on what site-specific safe-job-procedures are and how to utilize an industry recommended “best safe-work practices” through Supervision & Safety Training, OHC Level 1 & 2, H2S Alive safety training, Emergency First Aid/CPR/AED training, Global Ground Disturbance Level 1 & 2, Confined Space Entry & Rescue, Radiation Safety Training and many others.
I candidly believe that employer, manager, contractor, subcontractor, supervisor or workers; people at all levels from businesses like energy generating, pipelines construction, refineries, oilfield maintenance, trucking and convenience stores can benefit from our services. Our commitment to health, safety, and the environment motivates our belief that we are the one & only in safety business that genuinely wants to help our customers be the finest in theirs!
