Terms of Legal and Privacy Notice Binding
Your access and use of this website and/or Manor OHNS Training Centre ("OHNS") constitutes your agreement to be governed by the terms and conditions of use set out in this Legal and Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, immediately cease all use of this website and/or OHNS.
How to book a training
You can book any safety training or event organized by OHNS online. For this, visit http://www.ohns.net or www.skohs.com or www.canadaohs.com or www.ohns.ca or simply you can click this link here to fill up the registration form. Alternatively, Phone at 306.575.8019 or at 306.453.0077 (Integrity maintenance Ltd Carlyle, SK. S0C 0R0 hereafter "INTEGRITY").
Booking confirmation
Once we have processed your booking, INTEGRITY will send you a confirmation email with an electronic invoice. Your place is guaranteed once payment has been received by INTEGRITY.
Payment
Payment must be made at point of registration/purchase and can be made via Credit cards, checks etc. If you want to pay it by Cheque, ensure that the payee is Integrity maintenance Ltd. Carlyle SK, S0C 0R0.
Fees
All OHNS bespoke training courses listed in the program are subject to GST at the current rate. Course fees include administration fee, tuition and all relevant course materials. Since OHNS is currently providing her services through INTEGRITY, our clients will be paying to INTEGRITY for any services provided by us.
Group discounts
If 10 or more people book on the same course from the same organization they qualify for a 15% discount off the combined course fees.
Special requirements
OHNS will make every effort to accommodate special requirements of participant (such as wheel-chair student) that have been notified in advance on the booking form.
Course transfers
There is no charge for transferring your booking to the same course on an alternative date provided if you notify OHNS in writing up to 72 hours before the start and if there is availability. However, a transfer fee of 20% of the course fee will be payable if the notice is received less than 72 hours before the start of the original course. No refund will be made in the event of a transfer. No more than one transfer will be allowed. Requests to transfer a course must be made in writing and can be sent by email to rjnkathayat@hotmail.com or ohnscentre@gmail.com.
Cancelling your place
If you notify OHNS in writing (via letter, email or fax) up to 72 hours before the start date of a course, you will receive a full refund less an administration fee of 20% of the course fee from INTEGRITY. If you withdraw for whatever reason within the 24 hours period, the full fee will remain payable even if you are unable to nominate a substitute attendee. Substitutions should be received by OHNS at least 24 hours prior to the course start date.
Non-attendance
If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked without giving prior notice to OHNS, INTEGRITY may not refund the course fees.
Cancellation by OHNS
Where circumstances dictate, OHNS reserves the right to alter published programs, trainers, fees or venues without prior notice. In the event of a course being cancelled, a refund of the course fee will be made but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred.
Venues
OHNS organizes safety training or event at INTEGRITY - Safety Building in Carlyle, SK S0C 0R0. However, in case of OHNS chooses different location from @INTEGRITY, details of the specific venue will be provided to students for all training or event on the very day of registration.
Dress code
There is no dress code; however, most participants choose to wear smart casual clothing.
Certification
Upon successfully completion of bespoke training provided by OHNS, a certificate of attendance and/or wallet sized certificate would be awarded to the participant with a 3 yr. expiry date on it with the date of issue. By keeping, using or endorsing the Certificate, the bearer, whose name will be appeared on the front of the wallet sized certificate, must acknowledge and agree the following conditions:
The Certificate will be issued to the bearer on the condition and agreement that his/her certificate belongs to and remains the property of OHNS and OHNS can revoke the bearer’s rights to use the certificate at any time, with or without cause and can demand the return of the Certificate.
The Certificate is for the sole use and benefit of the bearer for the sole purpose of acknowledging that the bearer has completed the training course described on the front of the Certificate and is not transferable. The bearer must, further acknowledge that OHNS is not liable in any way whatsoever for the misuse of the certificate or any information taught in any course materials.
The Certificate is issued to the terms and conditions of OHNS course test and /or the registration form.
Bespoke course
The Customer may request OHNS to develop a new course or modify an existing course specifically to satisfy the customer’s work-site requirements. If such a request is accepted by OHNS
* the Customer will analyse and determine its requirements for the course,
* the Customer and OHNS will jointly prepare and agree the specification for the course, including but not limited to the content of the course, course notes, the depth to which the content is to be covered, the time to be allocated to each subject, the number of days over which the course is to be given and the type and experience of the Customer's personnel who will attend the course.
* the Customer will confirm the foregoing matters in writing to OHNS or by signing and returning the proposal to OHNS prior to any development work being carried out. If the Customer wants to modify a standard course OHNS will supply details of the subjects covered within said course.
Warranty And Limitation of Liability
Manor OHNS Training Centre; SAFETY TRAINING COURSE PROVIDER provides the services detailed in the website(s) via INTEGRITY,
OHNS does not accept responsibility for anyone because of information or views expressed on its training course(s) including course material(s). Opinions expressed are those of individual trainer(s) and not necessarily those of Manor OHNS Training Centre. Participants should take professional advice when dealing with specific situations.
1. The courses are provided under this Agreement at the Customer request. The Customer accepts that they are responsible for verifying that the courses are suitable for their requirements. OHNS will use all reasonable skill and care in the preparation and presentation of its courses and courses supplied under 'Bespoke course'. All other conditions, warranties, guarantees and representations whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise are excluded.
2. Other than as specified in this clause OHNS’s liability for loss and or damages shall be limited to a claim for damages. The maximum aggregate liability will be the charges for the course or hire of facilities out of which the loss or damage has arisen.
3. OHNS will not be responsible for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit or data), howsoever arising even if it has been advised of the possibility of such potential loss.
4. Except in respect of the liability of OHNS or its employees, or in respect of a claim for non-payment of monies due under this Agreement, no action regardless of form arising out of the provisions of training courses or facilities under this agreement may be brought by either party more than two years after the cause.
5. The Customer warrants that all the attendees on the course are properly authorized by the customer to attend and that they are suitably qualified to attend. The Customer acknowledges OHNS’s right to refuse admission or require the removal of any attendee where there are doubts about identity, qualifications or if the attendees’ behaviour is unacceptable.
Copyright
The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all courses developed under the provisions of 'Bespoke course' shall remain the sole and exclusive property of OHNS. The Customer undertakes that it will not copy or permit the copying of course materials, nor disclose or permit disclosure or sell or hire the same to third parties, nor use the same for running the customer’s own courses unless the express written permission of OHNS is given.
Prevailing terms and conditions
Please note that all services provided by OHNS are on the basis of OHNS’s terms and conditions. If you wish to engage any OHNS services, we shall only provide them if you accept the OHNS Terms and Conditions.
ADMISSION PRIVACY STATEMENT
The information collected by us, or on our behalf, during the admissions process and throughout any subsequent enrolment as a student at Manor OHNS Training Centre (“OHNS”) is collected for the primary purpose of considering your application for admission to OHNS and, if you are successful, administering your programme/s of study.
Other purposes of collection include:
* Corresponding with you.
* Informing you about your courses and other aspects of admission and enrolment.
* Informing you of the availability of discounts.
* Informing you about opportunities to engage with and support OHNS.
* Providing associated services such as security, parking and information technology services.
* Facilitating appropriate assistance in the event of an emergency involving you.
* Quality assurance and planning purposes.
* Complying with legislative reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
* Using the information for other OHNS purposes.
The information may be disclosed to the following types of organisations:
In the event of an emergency, police, medical or hospital personnel, civil emergency services, your legal representative or nominated emergency contact person, or other person assessed as necessary to respond to the emergency.
If you do not provide the information requested, it may not be possible for OHNS to consider you for admission or to enroll you in any safety training.
This privacy statement applies to personal information collected by any method (including hard-copy, electronic or verbal means).
STUDENT PRIVACY STATEMENT
Your personal information collected by us, or on our behalf (by Integrity maintenance ltd), throughout your enrollment as a student at Manor OHNS Training Centre (“OHNS”) is collected for the primary purpose of providing you with the safety training or event for which you are enrolled. Other purposes of collection include:
* Corresponding with you.
* Attending to day to day administrative matters.
* Informing you about your courses and other OHNS courses/events.
* Informing you about opportunities to engage with and support OHNS.
* Providing associated services such as security, parking and information technology services.
* On course completion, placing your details on OHNS Student database so that you may be kept informed of occupational health & safety news, events and activities.
* Facilitating appropriate assistance in the event of an emergency involving you.
* Conducting quality assurance and planning.
* After your enrolment with OHNS ceases, contacting you for the purpose of seeking your feedback in relation to benchmarking, analyses, quality assurance and planning activities.
The information collected may be disclosed to the following types of organisations:
* Any Government department if requested in Saskatchewan and/or Canada.
* External organisations such as employers, contractors if they pay for your training or event.
* In the event of an emergency, police, medical or hospital personnel, civil emergency services, your legal representative or nominated emergency contact person, or other person assessed as necessary to respond to the emergency.
The information may also be disclosed to other agencies where permitted or required in accordance with governmental act or legislation.
