OUR EVENTS / OHNS GRANT - Occupational Health and Safety Training

* Full SCHOLARSHIP or 75% Tuition-Free: OHNS grants a limited scholarship or donation to five participants on Occupational Health and Safety Training listed in our website every 6 month. Maximum $1000.00 (CAD) worth of training will be awarded to each successful candidate who meets the OHNS-eligibility criteria. If more than five people apply on the same time for the scholarship, the top five will be selected on the basis of 'first come, first serve' and who need the grant most. The training (e.g. H2S Safety Training, First Aid/CPR-ABC-HCP/AED, Supervision & Safety Training, Fall-protection, Confined Space Entry & Rescue Training, etc.) helps prepare you for the job market and makes you aware of your safety and workplace rights and responsibilities and such.

Eligibility :

1. A Non-For-Profit & non-political organization based in Saskatchewan and/or volunteer(s). or,

2. A Recent High-school graduate student or will be graduating within 3 months from Manor or Carlyle. or,

3. An Unemployed residence of Saskatchewan for last 7 month who needs specific safety training to meet a job requirement in workplace like oil & gas industry.
